Dorra also participated in the Arab competition with a Tunisian film entitled “Bab Al-Fella,” and participated in the various Cairo Film Festival jury committees several times. She became the first actress to direct among girls of her generation and the first actress to present a documentary film as a director.
Dora wrote: “I am honored and happy that my film “Where Are We?” was selected to officially participate in the Cairo International Film Festival. It is a feature-length documentary film and the most vital and truest cinematic and humanitarian experience in which I tried to present my vision of their story, their voice and their feelings. Because death surrounded them and they deserve life, because displacement It was imposed on them and they deserve the homeland.”

She added: “I wanted to make fun with as much love as I could to immortalize a defining moment, to leave a mark, no matter how small, against forgetting their story because they are not numbers and because in my opinion they are the most beautiful, strongest and most deserving. I wanted them to be the heroes of the first film directed and produced by me. Thank you to everyone who believed in the film and supported it in any way.” “Each team has its own work, which I hope will reach the largest possible number of people.”
