“Where did her transplanted heart come from?” Well Go USA has revealed an official trailer for a Korean horror thriller called Devils Stay, formerly known as Three Days which is the original Korean title. It’s an exorcism / supernatural horror with a few twists and turns. Cha Seung-Do’s (Park Shin-Yang) daughter dies suddenly. Her funeral will take place in 3 days. During the funeral, the devil wakes up from the heart of her dead body. Catholic Priest Van (Lee Min-Ki) performs an exorcism. In the intense horror film, the heart surgeon specialist doubts his daughter’s death even after an exorcism, believing her heart still beats. Amid her three-day funeral, he and a priest clash over the truth, each trying to prove their stance and potentially save her life. All of this sounds freaky! The film stars Park Shin-Yang, Lee Min-Ki, and Lee Re. Looks like it gets totally wild! Not a silent grief thriller, more of an intense all-out satanic horror. Get a look below.

Here’s the official trailer (+ poster) for Hyun Moon-Seop’s film Devils Stay, direct from YouTube:

Devils Stay Poster

After the sudden tragic loss of his daughter following an exorcism, a renowned heart surgeon refuses to face the reality that his child has died, despite declarations from medical examiners and even the priest who performed the expulsion. But as the funeral rites begin, mourners start witnessing unnerving changes to the girl’s body, leaving even the priest to wonder whether something much more sinister—an evil more historic than Catholicism itself—may once again be looming over them all. Devils Stay, originally known as 사흘 (or Three Days) in Korean, is directed by the Korean filmmaker Hyun Moon-Sub, making his feature directorial debut after directing the series “Nightmare Teacher” previously. Made for Showbox/Mediaplex in Korea. The film originally opens in Korean theaters in November this month. Well Go USA will then debut Devils Stay in select US theaters starting December 6th, 2024 coming up this winter. Does it seem scary?
