“Treat every day like Christmas… There’s room for everyone on the nice list…” 🎄 Take a fascinating trip through cinema history in these enchanting supercut video created by editor Luís Azevedo for Little White Lies. His latest video is called Christmas Movies Through the Years – it begins with Santa Claus (from 1898) and ends with this year’s indie film Christmas Eve in Miller’s Point (from 2024). Covering more than 100 years! So many B&W classics, and so many up-to-date comedies. There is nothing like a sultry & happy & witty Christmas movie – they’ve been a part of movie history since the start and will continue to be there for many more decades to come. This supercut also includes some forgotten classics like Santa Claus Conquers the Martians (1964) and 🥁 Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas (1977) and Ernest Saves Christmas (1988) and Mixed Nuts (1994).
