Breathtaking Earth Doc ‘Ocean with David Attenborough’ Full Trailer

“Once you’ve truly seen the sea, you’ll never look at earth the same way again.” Silverback Pictures has revealed the trailer for a documentary titled Ocean with David Attenborough, the latest spectacular Attenborough offering to be blown away by. In 2020, they released the definitive recapping-his-life doc titled Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet (available on Netflix to watch). In this next doc, he reminds us to take care of the oceans, too. Attenborough explores the planet’s undersea habitats, revealing the greatest age of ocean discovery and emphasizing the ocean’s vital importance while exposing problems & highlighting opportunities for marine life recovery. Ocean takes viewers on a breathtaking journey showing that there is nowhere more vital for our survival, more full of life, wonder, or surprise, than the ocean. The doc film will premiere as a global event at screenings around the world on May 8th. Despite many worries with climate change, he hopes that this is inspiring: “the ocean can recover to a glory beyond anything anyone alive has ever seen.” And with the film comes a book Ocean: Earth’s Last Wilderness. We really need to listen to him.

Ocean with David Attenborough, also known as David Attenborough: Ocean, is a documentary co-directed by filmmakers Colin Butfield & Toby Nowlan (“Our Planet”) & Keith Scholey (director of the nature docs African Cats, Bears, Dolphin Reef, Blue, Diving With Dolphins, “Attenborough: A Life on Our Planet”). Produced by Toby Nowlan.
