“I thought that our future was together.” “Yah, so did I.” Ouch. Paramount Movies has revealed an official trailer for an indie romance film titled Winter Spring Summer or Fall, marking the feature directorial debut of writer Tiffany Paulsen. Not to be confused with the award-winning Korean film Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter… and Spring which from 2004. This one premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival last year, and will be out on VOD to watch next week. Another sweet story of first love. Remi and Barnes, two very different teenagers, meet by chance in the winter of their senior year, then spend four days together over the course of a year that will change their lives forever. As winter turns to spring and spring turns to summer, the two find themselves falling in love… But with Remi heading to Harvard in the fall, her plan all along, the newborn couple are forced to reevaluate what’s truly vital to them. Co-starring Jenna Ortega as Remi and Percy Hynes White as Barnes, with Marisol Nichols, Adam Rodriguez Javier, Elias Kacavas, Ahaise, Corynn Treadwell, and others. This looks classically cliche, with all the usual newborn love tropes. But it also does look cute enough to enjoy, watching these two deal with their lively feelings for each other.

The screenplay is written by Dan Schoffer. Produced by Brad Krevoy, Josh Shader, David M. Wulf. This initially premiered at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival last year. Paramount debuts Paulsen’s Winter Spring Summer or Fall in select US theaters + on VOD starting April 25th, 2025 this spring. Anyone want to watch this?
