Sheikh Yassin will meet his audience on August 26th in a Sufi night at the 32nd Saladin Citadel International Music and Singing Festival, which is held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Heno, Minister of Culture, and organized by the Egyptian Opera House headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, which is held in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority. Its activities will start at 8 pm on Thursday, August 15th, and will continue for 14 consecutive days until Wednesday, August 28th.

Program Highlights

Dr. Lamia Zayed, Head of the Opera House, stated that work has been done to develop the 32nd edition of the Saladin Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing to appear in a new form that aims to present high-end artistic experiences and surprises that meet the tastes of all age, social and cultural groups.

She added that the festival includes a variety of musical and singing performances with the participation of a group of the most prominent artists and a special appearance by some of the stars of the nineties, so that the audience will have a unique artistic experience at the historic Citadel of Saladin in an atmosphere that combines the fragrance of heritage and authenticity.

She pointed out that the events this year include 31 concerts, with two consecutive concerts being held daily at Al-Mahka Theater, in addition to artistic performances by international bands in cooperation with the External Cultural Relations Sector.

Zayed explained that the number of seats has been increased to accommodate the audience, in addition to large screens to broadcast the shows and facilitate the audience’s follow-up.

The program of the Al-Mahki Theater events at the 32nd Saladin Citadel Festival for Music and Singing includes performances by: “Artist Nesma Abdel Aziz and her band, Artist Carmen Soliman and her band, Arabic Music Band in collaboration with the Talent Development Center, Arabic Music Night (Warda’s Songs) Conducted by: Alaa Abdel Salam, Black Thema Band, Artist Louay and his band, Artist Amr Selim and his band, Artist Hamza Namira and his band, Glass Onion Band, Artist Hesham Abbas and his band, Sufism and Modernity – Musician Fathy Salama and Sheikh Mahmoud Al-Tahami, Artist Dina El-Wedidi and her band, Artist Nadia Mustafa and her band, Artist Ali El-Haggar accompanied by the musical band conducted by Ahmed Farag, Sufi Night with the stars of the religious chanting band, Artist Ehab Tawfik and his band, Arabic Music Night (Abdel Halim’s Songs) with the participation of Artist Iman Abdel Ghani Conducted by: Mustafa Helmy, Artist Hani Shaker accompanied by the musical band conducted by: Mustafa Helmy, Cairo Symphony Orchestra (Songs International), artist Nesma Mahgoub and her band, artist Samar Tariq and her band, artist Mustafa Hagag and his band, Mawawil band, Sheikh Yassin Al-Tihami and his band, artist Saad Al-Oud and his band, artist Medhat Saleh accompanied by artist Amr Selim and the musical band led by: Ahmed Amer, Talent Development Center at the Opera House, artist Omar Khairat accompanied by the Cairo Opera Orchestra in addition to several international artistic performances in cooperation with the External Cultural Relations Sector.
