That’s what I’m for… You let me do that…” Lionsgate has launched the official trailer for the action thriller titled She Rides Shotgun, made by filmmaker Nick Rowland. Set for release in August this summer – in theaters exclusively. Adapted from the Edgar Award-winning novel from Jordan Harper. “Where can you run when there’s nowhere to hide?” Taron Egerton stars as the newly released ex-con Nate in this gritty, explosive action-thriller. Marked for death by unrelenting enemies, Nate must now protect his estranged 11-year-old daughter, Polly at all costs. Wary of her father, Polly is swept up in Nate’s perilous plight as they flee to evade the corrupt sheriff and brutal leader of a gang who will stop at nothing to protect his criminal interests. Along with Egerton, this also stars Ana Sophia Heger as his daughter, Rob Yang, Keith Jardine, Travis Hammer, Santiago Segura, and John Carroll Lynch. Featuring a soundtrack by Blanck Mass. Glad to finally see someone let Taron Egerton go totally wild, he’s been playing too many straight-edged characters recently. This is the most intense trailer of the week! Damn! Non-stop action & thrills right up to the end – definitely fire this up.
