The world premiere of Craig Brewer’s Song Sung Blue starring Hugh Jackman and Kate Hudson will close the 39th edition of AFI Fest (October 22-26).

The Focus Features release follows two down-on-their-luck musicians who form a Neil Diamond tribute band. The cast includes Michael Imperioli, Ella Anderson, King Princess, Mustafa Shakir, and Hudson Hensley, with Fisher Stevens and Jim Belushi.

John Davis, John Fox, and Brewer are the producers.

As previously announced, Scott Cooper’s Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere starring Jeremy Allen White will open the festival, and Guillermo del Toro is this year’s guest artistic director.

The full festival line-up will be announced on September 30.
