The head of the Egyptian Theater Festival, artist Mohamed Riad, awarded certificates of participation to all the young people who participated in the acting workshop presented by Dr. Alaa Qouqa, during the seventeenth session, “Samia Ayoub Session.”
A large number of young people applied for this workshop, reaching 1300 trainees from different governorates of Egypt, and 51 were chosen, as they were divided into 3 groups, and Dr. Alaa Qouqa provided them with his great experience, and trained them in the arts of performance in the art of acting through many multiple and varied exercises, and with a different approach, and presented a graduation show at the end of the workshop.
At the beginning, Dr. Alaa Qouqa, the workshop trainer, said: In fact, this presentation was the result of a workshop divided into 3 groups, each group separately, and this is a small part of the effort exerted in the workshop, which lasted for nearly a month.
The festival president, artist Mohamed Riad, said: “You made me very happy. Today I saw a very great effort that removed all the fatigue of 3 months. You are beyond wonderful. I extend my greetings and appreciation to Dr. Alaa Qouqa for the different and very difficult approach he presented. You are lucky to have this artist. He is a great artist and dedicated to his work. I offered him to present an acting workshop at the festival, and he immediately agreed without hesitation. An unprecedentedly large number of people applied for this workshop during the festival’s era.”
He added: The thing that makes me happiest in the festival’s activities are the artistic workshops and seminars, and I thank all the trainers in the workshops: Engineer Hazem Shabl, artist Heidi Abdel Khaleq, director Mohsen Rizk, Dr. Ayman Abdel Rahman, Dr. Khaled Abdel Salam, and artist Mohamed Riad, the festival’s president, extended his great thanks to the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad, for the great support, comprehensive care, and provision of all the possibilities of halls and theaters.
