The story
The series revolves around Ali Al-Tahami, a young man in his thirties who is married to the daughter of a billionaire with whom he is constantly at odds. When his father, the obscure painter who had been estranged from him for a while because the latter refused his marriage, dies, he goes to sell his father's old house, where he discovers a secret basement that leads him to another time. He returns to the 1940s, during the British occupation of Egypt, and finds a picture of his father. It turns out that his father's house was once a pension. His visits, discoveries, love story, problems and confrontations continue in order to discover the secret of the basement, which connects two eras.
