Magnolia Pictures has acquired US rights to Toronto International Film Festival Midnight Madness comedy The Napa Boys.

Nick Corirossi co-wrote and directed the feature in which a mysterious individual known as ‘The Sommelier’ leads a group of friends on a strange trip through wine country.

Armen Weitzman co-wrote and produced with Mike Rosenstein for Sunset Rose Pictures and Erin Owens. Jerrod Carmichael served as executive producer.

Magnolia plans an early 2026 a theatrical release after SVP of acquisitions John Von Thaden negotiated the deal with CAA Media Finance on behalf of the filmmakers.

Sarah Ramos, Mike Mitchell, Chloe Cherry, Vanessa Chester, Paul Rust, Jamar Neighbors, Nelson Franklin, David Wain, Ray Wise, Riki Lindhome, Natasha Leggero, Ivy Wolk, and Beth Dover are among the cast.

“We’re so happy that The Napa Boys have entrusted us to continue being stewards of this historic franchise,” said Magnolia Pictures co-CEOs Eamonn Bowles and Dori Begley.
