He added, “A different artistic case, she was able, with her talent, to make the viewer see himself in her through the roles that she chooses intelligently, so she entered the hearts of the Arab world in general and the Egyptian people in particular with the different characters that she presented and discussed various and multiple details, especially in “relationships”, which is the topic of the forum this year.
On the other hand, Saba Mubarak said, “I am happy with this honor from the Midfest Egypt Festival, and I have an additional reason for happiness, which is that this honor is from a festival that dedicates itself to integrating the world of filmmaking and social issues from a different perspective, and it is an initiative that we need in our Arab societies, and I always seek to pay attention to it in my works.”

About the Forum
Nadine Emil and Ahmed Nabil from the festival’s programming team pointed out that, as is customary in every edition, the participating films have a specific theme, and this year “relationships” is the main theme of the competition. She added, “The topic of relationships is very rich, to the point that it is difficult to talk about human relationships in all their forms, how one deals with them, and the ability to delve into them. Therefore, cinema is the world through which we can see the details of these relationships and dissect them on the screen.”
