Early Beginnings

Artist Ahmed Siam said that he entered the art world by chance, as he had a desire to enter the art world because of his talent that he saw in his eyes, until director Jalal Al-Sharqawi saw him in his last year of university and asked him to apply to the Higher Institute of Arts.

Breaking into the Industry

Artist Ahmed Siam continued, during a phone call with media figure Nahal Tayel on the program “Details”, broadcast on “Sada El Balad 2” channel: “I was going with one of my colleagues.. Ahmed told him that he did not submit the papers. He told me to bring the papers and I did not have any papers to submit them with, and I made him a statement that I submitted the papers to him and took the exam and thank God I passed, and at that time Nour El Sherif saw me and I did a play with him and after that I continued at the institute until I reached where I am.”

Working with Abla Kamel

Ahmed Siam pointed out that his uncle Saad Siam is the most important television producer in the Arab world, and he did not ask him to work in any series or film, and he did not discover his uncle as an artist until he worked in his production company.

Ahmed Sayam talked about the backstage of his participation in the movie “Khalti France” with the artist Abla Kamel, saying that he was very happy when he learned about working with her because she is a talented artist, but he felt sad when he learned that his role was a scene and he wanted to leave the location, adding: “I refused to do the scenes and until now I refuse to see them, not because of the size of the role, but I found the role not influential.”

Ahmed Siam concluded his speech by saying: “I played a simple role in the movie ‘The Following Statement Came to Us’, and this scene is a bright page in my CV because the role has value and meaning.. But the one in ‘My Aunt France’ is a charlatan and it was done in a bad way and I was not good in the role.”
