Artist Ahmed Siam Shares His Experience with Lung Cancer
Artist Ahmed Siam was upset by social media pages that reported he had lung damage and was receiving chemotherapy doses, claiming that the disease had recently struck him. However, Siam had actually been diagnosed with lung cancer 17 years ago.
During a phone call with media figure Nahal Tayel on the “Details” program, broadcast on “Sada El Balad 2” satellite channel, Siam shared his story. He explained that he received the news 17 years ago from doctors and initially refused to undergo surgery. It was only after God Almighty sent a young doctor who asked him to undergo surgery the next day that he agreed to do so.
Siam revealed that he did not feel afraid during the surgery and added that he had two daughters, saying: “I found that I am not more compassionate towards them than the One who created them.. and it will be safer for them, and I have surrendered my matter to God.”

Adel Emam, a famous Egyptian actor, also reached out to Siam and checked on his condition after the surgery. Many students from the institute have also visited Siam in the hospital.
