The activities of the 32nd session of the Citadel International Festival for Music and Singing continue, held under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano, Minister of Culture, and organized by the Egyptian Opera House headed by Dr. Lamia Zayed, as Al-Mahka Theater hosts two consecutive concerts this evening, Monday, August 29.

At 8 pm, the Mawawil band, which includes artists Abdel Rahman Bilala and Radwa Ibrahim, will present a selection of folkloric songs with a popular character, including “Ehna El Baladi”, “Ali Ah Ya Eini Ali Ah (Squares), “Nas Liha Bakht Wa Nas Malhash”, “Betnadini Tany Leh”, “Khalli El Basat Ahmedi”, “Mati Ya Karam El Hay”, “Ali Warak El Jasmine Pamper Me”, “Yama Dajet Ala El Ras Taboul”, “El Chocolat”, in addition to a number of praises to the Prophet.
At ten o’clock in the evening, the dean of religious chanting, Sheikh Yassin Al-Tihami, will meet the festival audience in a spiritual evening that includes selections of the most famous dhikr poems, religious chants and supplications, through which he has succeeded in achieving wide popularity and a broad fan base.
