Q: Why did you choose to return to Tarab songs?
A: The Tarab song still has its own flavor. The younger generation today listens to it and prefers it over others. Therefore, it was accompanied by a modern musical arrangement that they love.
Q: What do you think about the recent singing albums that caught your attention, such as those by Sherine Abdel Wahab and Angham?
A: I liked very much what Sherine presented. She was able to make a resounding comeback on the scene. I personally memorized one of her songs (The One Who Meets My Love). She is wonderful with her words and her melody, close to the heart. Likewise, for Angham, she in turn presented an album with ideas and song topics that had not been addressed before. Finally, I started listening to her album and was impressed by (Tiji Nassib).
