Holland also spoke about the challenges of making a film within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. "One of the things to bear in mind with Marvel is that your film is a small cog in a large machine," he explained. "And that machine has got to keep running. And you need to make sure you can fit into that timeline at the right time to benefit the bigger picture. That’s one of the challenges we’re facing. The time in which we need to get that done is a tall order but definitely achievable with the fantastic people we have working on it now."

Passing the Torch

Holland also reaffirmed his desire to help pass the baton to a new Spider-Man in the future. "If I would be lucky enough to somehow bring Miles Morales into my Spider-Man universe and into the MCU, I’d love to do for a young kid what [Robert] Downey [Jr.] did for me," he said. Holland started playing Peter Parker when he was just 19 years old, and he believes that bringing Miles Morales into the franchise would be a great way to give a younger actor a similar opportunity.
