Plot Summary: The White Dress

The White Dress follows the story of Warda, a bride who loses her wedding gown the night before her big day. This unexpected event forces her to embark on a challenging adventure through Cairo’s bustling streets with her best friend, as they race to find a replacement dress.

Throughout this journey, Warda begins to uncover new dimensions of her personality and a deeper connection to her city. Producer Mohamed Hefzy noted that the film transcends the simple search for a wedding dress, describing it as “a human journey filled with emotional depth and challenges.” Co-producer Tarek Nasr expressed optimism about the film’s success at the El Gouna Film Festival, citing the collaboration between the production companies as a key factor in the film’s anticipated impact.
