He told you he’d be back — and this time, he brought Carrie-Anne Moss. Netflix is dialing up the chaos, charm, and covert action with FUBAR Season 2, and today’s newly released trailer proves things are about to get explosively personal. The action-comedy series led by Arnold Schwarzenegger returns globally on June 12, just in time for Father’s Day weekend, and it’s bringing another action icon into the fold in the shape of The Matrix icon Moss, who is fully suited up as mysterious East German operative Greta Nelso.

We’ve already seen teases of Moss’s character dressed head-to-toe in espionage-ready black — and in the up-to-date trailer, we get our first look at just how much trouble Greta is about to cause for Luke Brunner. As Netflix describes it, Luke’s latest mission pits him against “an old flame from his past who threatens to destroy the world… if she doesn’t destroy his life first.” Let’s be sincere, folks. We’ve all had an ex that caused the same amount of trouble, right?

The teaser also features the rest of the found-family spy crew fans came to love in Season 1. Returning for more tumultuous missions are Monica Barbaro, Fortune Feimster, Milan Carter, Fabiana Udenio, Andy Buckley, Jay Baruchel, and Scott Thompson, alongside newcomers including Moss, Adam Pally, Tom Arnold, and Barbara Eve Harris. And yes, more Tina — the Russian double agent twist played by Aparna Brielle will continue to reverberate throughout the season.

Carrie-Anne Moss Says Working With Arnold Schwarzenegger Was “Amazing”

In a recent interview with Tudum, Moss opened up about joining the show and reuniting with FUBAR creator Nick Santora, whom she’d worked with previously on CBS’ Vegas. “I talked to Nick, who I’d actually worked with before, and he pitched it to me,” Moss said. “I watched the show, and I laughed so hard. And in the way that he described Greta, I just thought it would be really, really fun. And, of course, working with Arnold was just an amazing thought in my mind — like, how amazing would that be?”

And yes — there’s a dance scene. And yes — it’s just as incredible as you’re imagining when you think of Trinity and the Terminator getting down and boogie-ing.

The first time that I met him was actually in a dance rehearsal,” Moss shared. “We just jumped in, and it was just so fun. He’s just a hoot. We got to know each other, rehearsing to start with, and then on the set, and then we’d run into each other at the gym and have breakfast. I mean, fun is just the word that comes up all the time.”

FUBAR Season 2 drops June 12 on Netflix. Season 1 is available to stream now in its entirety.
