Having been absent from the Arabs’ artistic scene for almost 17 years, famous Lebanese singer and actress, Carole Samaha made a striking return with multiple projects, including a major theatrical comeback in the brand-new play “Kelle Masmooh”. An album of 14 newly composed songs, titled “Different” was also debuted, which marks a fundamental shift in her musical endeavour.
Hailed for her versatility on stage and screen, from her impressive theatrical performances – including the 2007 play “Zenobia” alongside the late Mansour Rahbani – as well as her notable experience in music, Carole Samaha has consistently dazzled audiences with her dedication to her craft.
In a live press conference at Casino Du Liban, Carole Samaha revealed that upon her return to the industry, she was determined that her latest theatrical work deserve the highest level of quality imaginable. Acknowledging challenges in balancing her dual skills as both a singer-actress, she credited her renewed energy and talent to a team of trust-worthy artists and her dedication to their collaboration.
Carole Samaha plays the rôle of the star-turned-artist, Yasmín, in the Arab adaptation of the 19th-century Broadway musical.
