About the 4th Edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival
The 4th edition of the Red Sea International Film Festival was a celebration of cinematic excellence, featuring over 200 films from 70 countries across various genres, including narrative, documentary, and experimental works. Highlights included:
- World Premieres: 48 films made their global debut.
- Arab and Saudi Talent Spotlight: A dedicated showcase of regional filmmakers.
- Special Events: Over 30 in-conversation sessions featuring global stars like Benedict Cumberbatch, Spike Lee, and Michelle Yeoh.
The festival also focused on supporting emerging voices through initiatives like the Red Sea Lodge and Red Sea Labs, platforms that foster creativity and collaboration in the global film industry.
