The official competition jury is headed by Dr. Medhat El Adl, with the participation of the committee members: star Salwa Mohamed Ali (Egypt), artist John Sebi Okumu (Kenya), artist Savvas Patsalides (Greece), artist Mart Mius (Estonia), artist and academic Dr. Abdul-Ilah Al-Sanani (Saudi Arabia), writer and novelist Hazaa Al-Barari (Jordan).

The Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre is organised by the Egyptian Ministry of Culture and held under the patronage of the Minister of Culture, Dr. Ahmed Fouad Hano. Its Supreme Committee consists of Dr. Sameh Mahran as President, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Rahman El Shafei as General Coordinator, Dr. Dina Amin as Director, Dr. Ayman El Shewy as Director, in addition to the membership of: Dr. Ahmed Megahed, Dr. Asmaa Yehia El Taher, Dr. Mohamed Samir El Khatib, and Director Ahmed El Bouhi.

Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre is one of the oldest international festivals specializing in providing the opportunity to present experimental theatrical performances from all countries of the world. The festival honors a number of international figures interested in the arts of experimental theatre, and awards prizes to the best performances in various theatrical fields.
