The National Dialogue congratulates the three Egyptian champions who raised the name of the nation high with their distinguished and honorable performance in the Paris 2024 Olympics. They are:

In a separate context, the meeting held by the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue, with the participation of Ahmed Ragheb, Assistant Rapporteur of the Human Rights and Public Freedoms Committee, began a short while ago at the headquarters of the National Training Academy.
The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue is holding a meeting today, Sunday, with the participation of Ahmed Ragheb, Assistant Rapporteur of the Human Rights and Public Freedoms Committee, to discuss and approve the final recommendations of the specialized sessions on the subject of pretrial detention to be submitted to President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic.
Today, Sunday, a meeting of the mini-working group was held, in the presence of Dr. Diaa Rashwan, General Coordinator of the National Dialogue, Counselor Mahmoud Fawzy, Minister of Parliamentary and Legal Affairs and Political Communication and Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Dialogue, and Negad El-Borai, Member of the Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue; to discuss the draft recommendations on pretrial detention, which resulted from the specialized sessions on this topic.
As well as addressing the comments received from Dr. Nevin Masoud, Rapporteur of the Human Rights and Public Liberties Committee, and Ahmed Ragheb, Assistant Rapporteur of the Human Rights and Public Liberties Committee, which were presented to Dr. Ali El-Din Hilal, General Rapporteur of the Political Axis, at the headquarters of the National Training Academy.
