I won’t let her be forgotten.” Netflix has unveiled the official trailer for a novel thriller mini-series titled The Survivors, set on the island of Tasmania next to Australia. It’s adapted from the best-selling novel also titled “The Survivors” by Jane Harper. When a juvenile woman is killed in Evelyn Bay (a fictional town on Tasmania), the seaside town’s tight-knit community begins to unravel as the investigation of her death exposes long-held secrets and past wounds. Fifteen years ago, a storm devastated the coastal town of Evelyn Bay and took three juvenile people: Kieran’s older brother, Finn, Mia’s best friend, Gabby, and Finn’s friend, Toby. Burdened by guilt, Kieran and Mia escaped. Now all these years later he’s still living with the guilt, until another death shakes things up in this close-knit town. The Survivors series features Yerin Ha, Charlie Vickers, Robyn Malcolm, Thom Green, George Mason, Don Hany, Jessica De Gouw, Damien Garvey, Martin Sacks, Catherine McClements. Yet another murder mystery thriller for true crime fans anywhere to tune into this summer and get caught up in.
