“Survival is a long shot.” Universal Pictures has revealed the first look tesaser trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth, the next fresh movie in the ongoing Jurassic Park / Jurassic World franchise of dinosaur movies. A standalone sequel to Jurassic World Dominion (2022), it is the 4th installment in the current Jurassic World series and the 7th overall in the full JP series. Directed by Gareth Edwards as his follow-up to The Creator. A fresh expedition braves isolated equatorial regions to extract DNA from three massive prehistoric creatures for a groundbreaking medical breakthrough. Featuring Scarlett Johansson, Mahershala Ali, and Jonathan Bailey, with Rupert Friend, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Luna Blaise, David Iacono, and Ed Skrein. Edwards explains his inspirations for this next one: “To me, it’s like a heist movie that meets all the films of Steven Spielberg I loved growing up. The three films we were orbiting were Jaws, Indiana Jones, and the awe and wonder of the original Jurassic.” Awesome! This looks way better than expected – finally a proper Jurassic Park sequel getting into even crazier dino territory with scary monsters. Bring it on.

This action-packed fresh chapter sees an extraction team race to the most perilous place on Earth, an island research facility for the original Jurassic Park, inhabited by the worst of the worst that were left behind. Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion (released in 2022), the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived.
