“Who do you work for?!” “No one.” Well Go USA has revealed the official trailer for a sci-fi action thriller movie called Affinity, another trashy B-movie being dumped direct to VOD this year. It’s the latest from filmmaker Brandon Slagle, known for Attack of the Unknown, Frost, Battle For Saipan, The Flood, Arena Wars. “Ex-SEAL. Elite team. One impossible truth.” A PTSD-afflicted ex-SEAL rescues & falls for a woman only to lose her to mysterious kidnappers. He gathers an elite team to retrieve her but soon discovers the shocking truth: she’s been bio-engineered by a scientist grieving his own wife. Affinity stars Marko Zaror, Louis Mandylor, Brooke Ence & Jane Mirro. Every single one of these bad action movies is always about rescuing a woman taken by some bad guys. That’s the plot every time and only the context changes. So many shots of Zaror’s brooding face in this looking super pissed off and ready to beat up more people. Ha…

Chilean martial-arts star Marko Zaror is Bruno, an ex-SEAL struggling with PTSD. He lives a life in fear of his demons until one day when he discovers a lovely woman with no past of her own. Together they begin to build a life, but when she disappears, Bruno must return to his violent past if he’s going to save her from a shocking conspiracy in this riveting, fast-paced action film. Affinity is directed by American B-movie director / actor / musician Brandon Slagle, of many genre movies including The Dark Avengers, Subject 87, Area 51 Confidential, The Black Dahlia Haunting, Dead Sea, House of Manson, Escape from Ensenada, The Dawn, Attack of the Unknown, Frost, Battle For Saipan, Breakout, The Flood, Arena Wars.
