The annual Chanel and Charles Finch pre-Oscars dinner is the final event of awards season. The intimate party at the Beverly Hills Hotel’s famed Polo Lounge has become tradition for nominees to relax on the night before the Academy Awards after a months-long tour of red carpet engagements. On Saturday evening, the French fashion house hosted its 16th party to celebrate the year’s best achievements in film and pay tribute to Chanel’s longstanding commitment to cinema. Leonardo DiCaprio, Mick Jagger, and Kim Kardashian were among the high wattage guests to attend and saluted current Oscar nominees—including Demi Moore, Sebastian Stan, and Jeremy Strong—on the eve of Hollywood’s biggest night.

Moore, a best-actress nominee for The Substance, arrived at the party in a classy Chanel black sequined tweed jacket that featured a flounced peplum with matching shorts. She and her daughter Scout Willis were seated with Elle Fanning from A Complete Unknown, one of this year’s best picture nominees, and her sister Dakota Fanning. The siblings—both decked out in stunning Chanel ensembles—stuck close together throughout the evening.

It was also a family affair for best-actor nominee Adrien Brody. He persuaded his mother, photographer Sylvia Plachy, and father, Elliot Brody, a schoolteacher, to join him and girlfriend, Marchesa designer Georgina Chapman, on the arrivals carpet for a group photo. On Sunday, he could become the 11th person to have won the Oscar more than once for his performance in The Brutalist.

Ralph Fiennes is up against Brody with his role in Conclave. He was the first guest to arrive at the glitzy bash and made his way to the bar, where he enjoyed a soiled martini. Soon, Felicity Jones—nominated for best supporting actress—strolled in and connected with her Brutalist director Brady Corbet, nominated for best director, near the bar.
