“She really looks up to you, you know?” 🦘 🇦🇺 Studiocanal has revealed the official trailer for a movie titled Kangaroo, a super sweet and cheesy adventure comedy about saving newborn joey kangaroos in the Outback. Set for release in Australia starting in September – but no international dates confirmed yet. This looks like it’ll connect with audiences everywhere. Kangaroo is a heart-warming family comedy about disgraced TV Host, Chris, and a newborn indigenous girl, Charlie, who work together to rescue and rehabilitate a group of orphaned joeys in a remote Outback community. Inspired by the real life of Chris ‘Brolga’ Barns, who’s the founder of The Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs deep in the Australian outback. Take a leap and find your home. This stars Ryan Corr as Chris, Lily Whiteley as newborn Charlie, Deborah Mailman, Rachel House, Rarriwuy Hick, Rick Donald, and Brooke Satchwell. As goofy as this movie looks, I can’t aid admit that the baby kangaroos looks so cute and adorable. We could all apply more feel-good stories like this.

Here’s the official international trailer (+ poster) for Kate Woods’ movie Kangaroo, direct from YouTube:
