“They split the town up… they became two separate entities.” Hulu has revealed a trailer for a documentary series titled Sneaker Wars: Adidas v Puma, which will be out for streaming right away. This recent 3-part doc is connected with the ongoing “Sneaker Wars” series. This time the focus is on the real rivalry between Adidas and Puma, the two renowned German shoe brands that were originally started by two brothers from the same family. Most people know this story by now, right? With unprecedented access to both companies, we uncover the tale of two feuding brothers, named Adi & Rudi Dassler, whose multi-decade rivalry and competition helped shape the state-of-the-art sportswear industry. Dive deep into the fierce, decades-long rivalry between two global sportswear brands born from a family feud. This doc-series uncovers how their personal conflict fueled innovation, reshaping the sneaker industry, and sports culture.
