“This ugly deathtrap house might’ve just become humanity’s global HQ.” HBO has debuted the full official trailer for Mountainhead, an original comedy movie written and directed by Jesse Armstrong, creator of the uber successful series “Succession.” Back with another story about opulent assholes being opulent assholes. Four friends reunite for a mountain retreat right during the middle of worldwide economic turmoil. Steve Carell, Jason Schwartzman, Cory Michael Smith, and Ramy Youssef play billionaire tech company CEOs who escape to the mountains for a vacation at a glorious massive condo (filmed in Park City, Utah). But then the world starts to fall apart and descend into an economic collapse, and they stay up there having a blast. Not sure what happens next – do they start turning against each other? Only one way to find out… Mountainhead will debut on HBO Max streaming at the end of this month. Looks like it will be a good time.
