Marwa Abdel Moneim Spoke About Her Belief in the Hijab

Actress Marwa Abdel Moneim made a surprising statement about her belief in the hijab, despite not wearing it herself.

Unwavering Belief in Hijab

According to her interview on Amal Gharaibeh’s podcast, Abdel Moneim expressed a strong belief in the hijab and its significance in Islam. She poses the question, “Will I enter heaven with the hijab or with God’s mercy, with prayer or with the hijab?”.

Abram Moneim admitted to being bullied due to a misunderstandings of religion, particularly due to her daughter’s hijab and her own lack of wearing one. She shared a harrowing experience of bullying, saying, “People have a wrong understanding of religion, and they understand religion as an appearance and not an essence”.

Abdel Moneim added that her daughter took off her hijab because of the bullying, stating it is normal for a 14-year-old girl going through exams and depression. “I knew that this condition would end,” she said.
