Prime Video has released the official trailer for Hazbin Hotel Season 2, offering Hellaverse fans their most in-depth look yet at what’s next for Charlie Morningstar (Erika Henningsen) and the residents of the infamous redemption hotel. Following the explosive finale of Season 1, the modern season dives deeper into the fallout between Heaven and Hell, introducing modern enemies, expanding the roles of returning characters, uneasy alliances, and plenty of musical mayhem.
The trailer also teases the first modern song of the season, “Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us),” with the full Hazbin Hotel: Season Two (Original Soundtrack) now available for pre-order from Atlantic Records. Fans can stream the single across digital platforms today, and a full physical suite is also available for pre-order, including five vinyl variants, CD, and cassette releases. Written and produced by Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg, the soundtrack features performances from the show’s ensemble cast, including Henningsen, Stephanie Beatriz, Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, Blake Roman, Amir Talai, Alex Brightman, Christian Borle, Jeremy Jordan, Jessica Vosk, Joel Perez, Lilli Cooper, Krystina Alabado, Patrick Stump, Darren Criss, Shoba Narayan, Patina Miller, Liz Callaway, Leslie Rose Kritzer, James Monroe Iglehart, Andrew Durand, Kevin Del Aguila, Daphne Rubin-Vega, and Alex Newell.
Hell’s Tensions Rise in ‘Hazbin Hotel’ Season 2
Season 2 picks up after Charlie’s unprecedented victory against Heaven’s army, which has caused the rebuilt and improved hotel to boom with modern residents. But to her dismay, many aren’t there to be redeemed — they’re looking for power. As resentment against Heaven grows, sinners begin to realize they can fight back. Enter the infamous overlord trio known as The Vees — Vox (Borle), Velvette (Cooper), and Valentino (Perez) — all of whom audiences were first introduced to in Season 1. Led by Vox, the trio schemes to topple Heaven itself, positioning themselves at the top of the hierarchy.
Meanwhile, Charlie must balance her dream of redemption with the increasingly cutthroat politics of Hell, all while protecting the Hotel’s feeble public image. On the other side of the afterlife, Heaven is reeling from its own crisis. Sir Pentious’s (Brightman) shocking redemption has left angels scrambling to reckon with their role in past atrocities and the growing instability of their dominion. With Hell in upheaval and Heaven uncertain, Season 2 promises to heighten the stakes for every character caught in the middle.
Created by Vivienne Medrano (VivziePop), the series is based on her hit 2019 YouTube pilot that has amassed over 117 million views and a global fan base. Medrano directs all episodes and serves as executive producer alongside Dana Tafoya-Cameron and Brett Coker. The series is produced by Oscar- and Emmy-winning A24 and FOX Entertainment Studios’ Emmy-winning Bento Box Entertainment.
Season 2 of Hazbin Hotel premieres on October 29 with two episodes, followed by two modern episodes weekly through November 19, exclusively on Prime Video.
