Saudi-Chinese discussions in Beijing to develop media cooperation

Salman Al-Dosari, Saudi Minister of Information, met with Mo Gao Yi, Director of the Information Office of the Chinese State Council. During the meeting, which was held in the Chinese capital, Beijing, on Thursday, they discussed the prospects for media cooperation and ways to develop it, and the exchange of experiences between the two sides and benefiting from them, in addition to enhancing cooperation in the field of media technology and its various branches.

Minister Al-Dosari also visited the administration of Beijing Language and Culture University, met with the Chairman of the University’s Board of Directors, Ni Haidong, and discussed, during the visit, aspects of developing joint work and exchanging experiences in the field of media, publishing, translation and language, in a statement published by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the website of its embassy in Beijing.

Minister Al-Dosari met with Saudi students at Beijing University and exchanged conversations with them. A memorandum of understanding for cooperation was signed between the Saudipedia platform and the Beijing University of Languages ​​and Culture, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador to China, Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi.

The Saudi Minister of Information praised the distinguished growth of bilateral relations between the two countries, during his meeting with the head of the Chinese National Radio and Television Corporation, Cao Shumin, and discussed with her ways to enhance joint cooperation in the field of radio and television.
