“Fall in love again & again…” Warner Bros has unveiled the first teaser trailer for Wuthering Heights, the brand recent adaptation of this timeless classic romance story from writer Emily Brontë. This recent take is directed by director Emerald Fennell, her follow-up to Saltburn, and it opens in theaters on Valentine’s Day next year (starting February 13th). A passionate, tumultuous love story set against the backdrop of the Yorkshire moors, exploring the intense and destructive relationship between Catherine Earnshaw and her lover Heathcliff. Fennell’s version is said to be hyper-sexualized and over-indulgent, with lavish sets and extra intense romance galore. Margot Robbie co-stars with Jacob Elordi, and a full cast including Hong Chau, Shazad Latif, Alison Oliver, Martin Clunes, and Ewan Mitchell. This teaser features a brand recent Charlie XCX song made for the film… Definitely not my jam, but I’m sure many people will be into this.
