Tubi’s Chilling Novel Horror Movie Will Make You Rethink Your Next Camping Trip [Exclusive]

This time of the year, there’s nothing better than coming home after a long day of work, firing up some dinner, and cozying up to a fresh scary movie. That is, unless it’s a free fresh scary movie. Today, Collider is excited to team up with Tubi to unveil the trailer for the streamer’s upcoming horror film, Glamping, which is set to make its scream-worthy arrival on the platform on October 24 — just in time for the most terrifying week of all. In addition to the exclusive on the trailer, we’ve also got your first look at the movie’s official poster art and some images that better map out the horror that awaits a group of friends led by Rosemary Idisi’s Olivia.

Olivia is your average influencer. With her phone always just an arm’s length away to create content, the youthful woman has made a name for herself and gathered a sprawling following on the internet. After a product spotlighting opportunity goes horribly wrong, Olivia decides that maybe now is the time for a break and talks her friends into joining her for a little getaway to the lakeside mountain town of Big Bear. Ready for the bougie glamping trip of their dreams, the vacay quickly takes a turn for the sinister and becomes the camping trip of their nightmares. Trying to make the best out of a wildly unsettling situation, the crew decides to hang around and get what they can out of their cabin rental, but begin to seriously question their decision when a masked maniac with a bone to pick descends on their rest and relaxation.

In a statement paired with today’s drop, Idisi, who also made the low film of the same name that inspired Alexa Gartster‘s script, said:

“I’m passionate about bringing diverse characters to life on screen, especially in genres where we haven’t traditionally seen ourselves. Stubios gave me the access, mentorship, and community support that young filmmakers like me rarely receive. I can’t wait to bring Glamping to a broader audience.”

Meet the Cast Behind ‘Glamping’

It wouldn’t be a fun and freaky trip out to the woods without a massive group of friends to share your terror with and for that, Idisi enlisted the support of a talented cast that also includes Joseph Purcell (The Glow-Up Game), Geffen Aviva (Senior Prank), Chris Angelis (Responsibility Island), Angelique Chapman (Gotham), Annie Grant (15 to Sunrise), David Hernandez (Watch Out I’m the Lady Boss) and more. The project is the latest feature-length project to hail from director and actress Niki Koss.

In support of the upcoming slasher flick and of Idisi’s winning of the sought-after Stubios Greenlight Contest, Tubi’s Chief Content Officer, Adam Lewinson, said:
