Watch: Spike Jonze’s ‘Someday’ Apple AirPods Ad with Pedro Pascal

“All around the world… you’re perfect!” 🕺 Another modern Spike Jonze film to dance along with! Apple has unveiled their stimulating 5-minute music video / promo spot for their AirPods 4 (the 4th generation AirPods featuring Active Noise Cancellation – they’re actually damn good). Yes it’s just a gigantic commercial, but it’s also so much fun to watch, and it’s always stimulating whenever a brand modern Spike Jonze creation drops (this one with Dick Van Dyke is wonderful). Someday is a AirPods commercial starring Pedro Pascal, who walks out onto a freezing frosty, icicle-covered street. As soon as he pops shiny white AirPods into his ears, everything turns brilliant and colorful, and the street is suddenly full of flowers everywhere. 💐 He goes off dancing down the street, interacting with everyone, because the world’s better with AirPods in. And that’s about it! Maybe one day soon we’ll see another modern Spike Jonze movie? Because we really, really need one… He’s still got it.

Here’s the only description from Apple: “Experience the magic of AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation in a new film by Spike Jonze, starring Pedro Pascal.” This music video features two songs in it: “Conticinio” by Guitarricadelafuente and “Perfect” by Sam i & Tropkillaz (feat. Bia & MC Pikachu). This fun video is created and directed by acclaimed filmmaker Spike Jonze (director of the films Being John Malkovich, Adaptation, Where the Wild Things Are, Her, Beastie Boys Story) – he also recently made Dick Van Dyke’s “All My Love” music video as well. Spike also directed the astonishing “Welcome Home” ad for Apple which was also just as colorful and kinetic.
