Director of the Mono Theater, Josiane Boulos, called for a series of in-depth meetings, with actors, directors, and artistic people, to discuss the challenges they face during the war, and to search for ways to withstand and grow, and to find a road map for the artistic community and the public, because empowering the sector is a collective mission, and each person expressed his point of view about it. How to develop and prosper, despite challenges and war.

Everyone exchanged ideas on how to support theater and create spaces for thinking and creativity. They also discussed developing shows related to local reality into programs that bring people of different ages and backgrounds closer to theatre.
The meetings resulted in the launch of several works, including the play “Before What Went Down” by director Shadi Al-Habr, and poetry readings by the French writer and poet Jacques Prévert with Josiane Boulos, Zalfa Shalhat and Cyril Jabr.
Actor and director Ziad Najjar suggested showing the play “Groomsmen, I Don’t Know Where” by Marwan Najjar via VHS, and also called for a meeting on the occasion of Independence Day about the Lebanese national anthem with Fouad Yammine and Hadi Zakak. Josiane Boulos also began writing a play with Josiane Boulos.
