This year’s winners showcase diverse narratives and creative excellence, further solidifying the festival’s role as a global platform for emerging voices.
Red Sea Labs SeriesLab Awards
The Red Sea Souk SeriesLab Jury honored three outstanding TV projects:
- First Winner: COLD CASE ONE by Nithin Lukose and Hari Krishnan
- Second Winner: GENERATION A by Mona Ombogo
- Special Winner: SARIA OTHMAN NEEDS NO MAN by Estephan Khattar, awarded $10,000
These projects highlight innovation in storytelling, tackling themes from intergenerational dynamics to compelling character-driven tales.
Red Sea Labs Awards for Projects in Development
The Red Sea Souk Projects in Development Jury celebrated the following winners:

A Landmark 4th Edition
This year’s Red Sea International Film Festival featured a vibrant lineup of 38 film projects and, for the first time, introduced television series. The event demonstrated its commitment to nurturing new voices through initiatives like the Red Sea Labs, designed to provide financial support and mentorship for filmmakers and creators.
Shivani Pandya Malhotra, Managing Director of the Red Sea Film Foundation, commented, “This year’s winners reflect the extraordinary talent emerging from our region. Through initiatives like Red Sea Labs, we aim to empower storytellers and provide a platform for their creative growth.”
