“I’ve tried to make up for my mistakes, but I’m not sure redemption is possible…” It might just be, Chris! 🦅 Fresh from San Diego Comic-Con, Max & DC have debuted the full official trailer for the next season of the Peacemaker series – which will open itself up to other alternate dimensions. Peacemaker is James Gunn’s highly successful DC spin-off series that launched in 2022. This next season picks right up right where the first left off – the patriotic mercenary Chris Smith struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt. “Making peace with yourself is harder than it looks.” He also discovers “parallel worlds” by entering a dimensional portal, and ends up preferring the one where the people in it actually like him. Peacemaker Season 2 cast includes John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick returning. And they’re joined by Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, Tim Meadows, as well as Nhut Le playing Rip Jagger aka “Judomaster”. With episodes directed by James Gunn, Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, & Althea Jones. This season looks like it’s going to pack a punch with all kinds of extra fun twists & turns for Chris and everyone.

Peacemaker is a spin-off series for HBO created and written by American writer / filmmaker James Gunn, director of the movies Slither, Super, Guardians of the Galaxy, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, The Suicide Squad, and the upcoming Superman; he also wrote the screenplay for Dawn of the Dead and The Belko Experiment. James Gunn also directed a few episodes in this season, along with Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones. Based on the Peacemaker character created by Joe Gill & Pat Boyette.
