Lumon’s magnetic middle-manager is getting a Marvel Studios sized promotion. Yes, having thrilled, chilled, and overall simply mesmerised us to Emmy nominated effect as Severance‘s inscrutable Seth Milchick, Tramell Tillman is gearing up to bring his singular charisma into the MCU next summer. Per Variety‘s reporting, the actor has landed a secrecy shrouded role in Destin Daniel Cretton’s upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

While we don’t know who exactly Tillman is set to play in Cretton’s hotly anticipated Spidey fourquel, we do know that the actor — most recently seen in Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning as the USS Ohio’s charismatic commander Captain Bledsoe — is joining an already stacked line-up for the long-awaited return of Tom Holland’s webhead. Not only will Tillman star opposite established MCU fan favourites including Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal, and Mark Ruffalo in Cretton’s film, but he’ll also be joining Michael Mando’s Scorpion as well as Stranger Things‘ Sadie Sink and The Bear‘s Liza Colón-Zayas, whose roles remain firmly under wraps for the time being.

With production on Brand New Day getting underway in Glasgow earlier this month, concurrent with the Russo Brothers’ continued work on Avengers: Doomsday (no, we haven’t forgotten Ryan Reynolds’ recent Deadpool tease!), hype for Peter Parker’s next adventure — pitched apparently as a street-level affair — is growing by the day. And you can really feel it: despite the fact we don’t know how the film will deal with No Way Home‘s memory wipe ending, who the fresh cast members are playing, or indeed who the main villain(s) in the Spidey fourquel might be, there’s a real buzz about the production a year out from release that feels fresh and electrifying. We’ll see if our Peter Tingle about Cretton’s first rodeo with the wallcrawler is well founded when Spider-Man: Brand New Day thwips into cinemas on 31 July, 2026.
