EXCLUSIVE: Screenbound Pictures International has boarded UK romantic comedy drama and Dublin film festival world premiere All That Glitters for worldwide sales ahead of Cannes.

It is the debut feature from Dublin filmmaker Peter Lavery, and follows insecure teenager Ryan who, hoping to prove himself by becoming Romeo in a school play, accidentally summons the ghost of Shakespeare to guide him.

Lavery also produces the feature, alongside Joe Andrews for the UK’s Clover Fox Films in association with Elevation Films and Bandit Films.

Paul Ready, whose credits include Motherland and Bring Them Down, stars alongside Elliot Grihault, Tim Downie, James Craven and Mark Lavery.

Alan Byron, managing director of Screenbound, said: “Peter Lavery is extremely talented and has created the perfect blend of humour and pathos, sprinkled with dashes of whimsy and magic. We are excited to be representing All That Glitters at a time when audiences are searching out feel-good films.”
