“Finish the story – or she dies!” Uh oh. Brainstorm Media has revealed the full official trailer for Big Baby, a meta horror movie ready for release in August later this summer. Not to be confused with the horror film about an evil baby doll or the giant scary doll horror Dolly. This is a meta slasher from the filmmaker known as Spider One (also of Little Bites). After premiering last year at the 2025 Screamfest Horror Film Festival, this is arriving to watch soon and it looks like a doozy. Horror fans tune in! You don’t want to miss this one. Big Baby is a meta concept involving a horror screenwriter’s nightmares crossing into reality. It gets really brutal, really rapid! Nightmares involving a maniac killer in a baby mask (known as just “Big Baby“) inspire a horror writer’s up-to-date script. But as his life begins to spiral out of control, he discovers Big Baby’s murderous rampage may be more than just fiction. Written & directed by Spider One this indie horror stars Brandon Scott, Krsy Fox, and Adam Marcinowski, Big Baby is a haunting, bloody slasher feature packed with psychological dread. This looks gnarly! I dig that screenwriter twist – curious to see how finishes the script.

But as more nightmares, visions, and real life terror begin to challenge Adam’s sanity, he finds himself in a desperate struggle to control his writing, his reality, and who will be Big Baby’s next victim. Big Baby is written and directed by American musician / filmmaker “Spider One” (aka Michael David Cummings of the band Powerman 5000 & brother of Rob Zombie), director of the films Allegoria, Bury the Bride, and Little Bites previously, plus many other brief films as well. Produced by Krsy Fox (Terrifier 3) and Spider One. This initially premiered at the 2025 Screamfest Horror Film Festival last year and a few other fests.
