UK producers Pippa Harris and James Wilson will headline the speakers at the BFI London Film Festival 2026 Industry Forum, with both participating in individual Spotlight conversations.
The Forum runs from October 8-15 at London’s Picturehouse Central.
Harris, the co-founder of Neal Street Productions, is producing the four-part The Beatles film series and won a Bafta for her work on Chloe Zhao’s Hamnet. Her further credits include 1917, The Magic Faraway Tree and TV series Call The Midwife and Penny Dreadful. She will discuss the challenges of development and production and her relationship with filmmakers and talent.
Wilson, the long-time collaborator of director Jonathan Glazer, working with him on the Oscar-winning The Zone Of Interest and Under The Skin, will talk about key moments from his career, including his time working at Fox Searchlight Pictures and Film4, through to the creation of his own company JW Films in the 2000s. His further credits at JW Films include Lynne Ramsay’s You Were Never Really Here and Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Voice Of Hind Rajab.
“This year our industry programme puts a spotlight on producers and the vital role they play in shepherding artistic visions from their earliest stages through to the screen,” said festival director Kristy Matheson. “I’m delighted that industry colleagues will have the opportunity to hear from Pippa Harris and James Wilson – two esteemed producers whose unique creative careers have given us some of the most memorable and critically acclaimed films of recent years.”
