“We can’t leave you like this!” Dark Sky Films has revealed an official trailer for a horror comedy film titled Flush, a totally bonkers French genre film about a dude stuck inside of a toilet. Yes – it is disgusting and gnarly and totally hilarious. Why not? The horror genre gets even weirder and more innovative than ever each year. Remember that scene in Trainspotting? Just imagine that but even worse for an entire film. A middle-aged cocaine addict gets stuck in a club bathroom after stealing drugs while trying to win back his ex-girlfriend. His night spirals into chaos through increasingly bizarre and grotesque events – from a junkie rat to threatening dealers. Worst of all, his head is stuck down in one of those extra gross squat toilets that is just a hole in the ground. The film stars R. Jonathan Lambert as Luc (or Luke), with Élodie Navarre, Elliot Jenicot & Rémy Adriaens. File this under “you’ve really never seen anything like this before.” Have fun.

Here’s the official US trailer (+ poster) for Grégory Morin’s horror comedy Flush, from YouTube:

Flush Horror Comedy

Trying to win back his girlfriend in a shady club, Luke (starring R. Jonathan Lambert) finds himself in the middle of a drug deal gone wrong. Left for dead with his head stuck in the hole of a squat toilet, he must survive a nightmarish night involving threatening dealers, a junkie rat, and an ever-increasing series of totally crazy circumstances. Flush is directed by French genre filmmaker Grégory Morin, director of the films Ultimate Zombie Feast previously, and a few other horror shorts. The screenplay is written by David Neiss. Produced by Kieran Clemow, Thomas Leterrier, and Jean-Michel Tari. This initially premiered at the 2025 Fantasia Film Festival last year and played at other festivals. Dark Sky Films debuts Grégory Morin’s Flush horror film direct-to-VOD in the US starting on October 9th, 2026 this fall. Look gross? Who’s in?
