Oh this is so fun! 🌱 Seed is a wacky, clever, amusing 6-minute sci-fi comedy brief film from Canada made by filmmaker Cameron Macgowan. After a successful film festival tour with screenings at many festivals such as Cinequest, Boston Underground Film Festival and Fantaspoa, it’s now available to watch online for those with a curious & adventurous taste in film. Two feral men living on Trash Planet discover a humanoid plant creature while foraging for food & supplies. That’s all you need to know going in! Just click play and get ready to laugh. Macgowan’s Seed is a mixture of live-action & 2D animation footage about these two men living on a strange planet whose basic lives are forever changed. Starring Roger LeBlanc & Mike Tan as the dudes. Cameron says: “The film was inspired by my love of silent comedy, retro nature documentaries & films which feature human actors performing with animated characters like Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” I really dig the 2D creature and the dialogue-free kookiness of this film. It’s all so wonderfully original! Enjoy.
